I love bold colors in a house. One of my biggest frustrations living in an apartment is that I wasn’t able to paint the walls. Now that I am buying a house, I’ve got loads of colorful and fresh inspiration. Some are just fun to look at and some not my style, but all colorful and fun.
Paint can provide a makeover for a room that can be both cheap and chic, so if you have the time, why not try a brighter color on your walls? Or just some color at all?

The first room, with the grey walls and gorgeous book shelves, is wonderful. Personally, I would love the live there. The orange room is very cool, but quite loud, I’m not sure I would ever be able to rest in that room. Although, the puppy doesn’t seem to be experiencing that issue. All in all, the rooms in the post are great fun to look at!
I am a big fan of orange – it’s one of my favorite colors, so I would love an orange room. It would lift my mood up, but if you aren’t into orange, I can see how it would be too bright. I love tropical colors, so the first room is too sedate for my taste. But any room with that many books – I’d love to live in!
It’s definitely a great room, especially if you really like the color orange. However, I’m definitely more drawn to the books. I would also love to live in that room.
