I found this video on myspace and had to repost it. I like that the celebrities in it feature a variety of changes that they are pledging to, not just giant causes – they include turning off the lights and remembering to be a part of the change. Being part of the change isn’t about who is president or for whom you voted. I served two years in AmeriCorps National Service and volunteered over 3,400 hours during those two years, but I gave not one thought to who the President was as I was baking cookies and reading stories with kids. Those years gave me some of the best memories of my life and led me to moving to Massachusetts.
